About the GSBS Career and Professional Development Special Collection

As part of the GSBS’s new expansion of programs in career and professional development, this special collection features books on topics such as:

  • scientific presentation skills
  • writing a grant proposal
  • starting up a research lab
  • succeeding in graduate school
  • teaching science
  • understanding the pharmaceutical industry
  • careers away from the bench
  • launching an academic job search.

Books circulate as three-week loans.

As you browse the book titles in the tabs above, click on any book title to see if is is currently available in the Library. If the book you want is not currently available, we encourage you to reserve the book by placing a "hold" on it. You will be notified when the book becomes available.
