(from the website) Our Healthy Mass was created to provide information to Massachusetts residents on the health of their communities, as well as to chart progress of the Community Transformation Grant and Mass in Motion program in creating a healthier Massachusetts.

The website was created through a partnership between the Metropolitan Area Planning Council (MAPC) and theMassachusetts Department of Public Health (DPH), the two organizations that are collaborating on the Middlesex County Community Transformation Grant project. MAPC is a regional planning agency serving the people who live and work in the 101 cities and towns of Metropolitan Boston. DPH is a government agency of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts devoted to promoting healthy people, families, communities, and environments.
