  • Center for Health + Justice Transformation: The Center’s mission is to improve the health and human rights of justice-involved populations through education, advocacy, and research. 
  • Center for Health Justice: A non-profit organization dedicated to serving individuals with a history of incarceration. Provides health education and supportive services that act as a bridge to a healthier, more productive life.
  • Human Rights Watch Prison Resources by State: A collection of non-profit and government resources for inmates, their families, and people who work with/for them. 

  • Opioid Industry Archive: A digital repository of publicly disclosed documents arising from ongoing opioid litigation brought by local and state governments and tribal communities against opioid manufacturers, wholesalers, and pharmacies.

  • Prison Policy Initiative: A non-profit, non-partisan organization that produces cutting edge research to expose the broader harm of mass criminalization, and then sparks advocacy campaigns to create a more just society. Includes health-related topics like the spread of coronavirus in prisons and the discontinuation of jailing people who need substance abuse treatment.

  • World Prison Brief: An online database providing free access to information on prison systems around the world. It is a unique resource, which supports evidence-based development of prison policy and practice globally. WPB is hosted by the Institute for Crime & Justice Policy Research (ICPR), at Birkbeck, University of London.
