Mental Health Collection (AAMC)

In response to calls from the White House and the community to further the National Dialogue on Mental Health, the Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC), in partnership with the American Psychological Association (APA) is calling for individuals in the health care community to submit educational resources on mental health for inclusion in a new mental health section of the AAMC MedEdPORTAL’s iCollaborative, a publicly available and free resource. These materials will equip current health care providers and individuals teaching tomorrow’s providers with the knowledge they need to improve mental health screenings and early identification of mental health problems, expand awareness in their communities about mental health in order to reduce stigma, and better integrate mental health and physical health care.
